🌿 March Nature Camp (Current Offering)

Children-focused nature experiences

Kinwood Echoes March Nature Camp is a primarily outdoor, nature-led program.
Children spend most of the day outdoors in nearby natural spaces, engaging in gentle, guided activities that emphasize slowing down, observation, creativity, and connection with the land.

I am currently exploring options to include indoor time at Meadowvale Community Centre for warmth, lunch, and rest. Indoor access is dependent on room availability and therefore cannot be guaranteed at this stage. Appropriate washroom access is a non-negotiable care requirement and is being confirmed before finalizing the program.

🌱 About Nature Camp for Kids (Year-Round Philosophy)

Nature Camp for Kids offers children a gentle, curiosity-led way to connect with the natural world through movement, observation, play, and creativity.

Rooted in forest therapy principles and guided by a STEM-informed approach, the camp invites children to slow down, explore with their senses, and learn through direct experience. Activities may include nature-based play, simple science observations, storytelling, creative movement, and quiet moments of reflection.

Programs are designed to be child-paced, inclusive, and adaptable, supporting emotional regulation, imagination, and a respectful relationship with nature.

Because nature is a living environment, activities are thoughtfully planned yet adapted in the moment as needed, with safety, care, and calm leadership guiding decisions.

🌿 What Children Can Expect

🌿 For Parents & Caregivers

Nature Camp offerings are guided with care and attention to safety, accessibility, and individual needs. While programs are thoughtfully planned, outdoor environments can involve variables such as weather or group dynamics, and activities may be adjusted to support children’s wellbeing.

Details about age groups, schedules, locations, and what to bring will be shared with each program.
